Night Crows has the potential to be a fantastic quality MMO, but it is being build in partnership with Wemade, who are known to publish Blockchain MMOs. That would immediately destroy any chance this game has at garnering any type of active playerbase outside of Korea.

Toram Online is a free-to-play MMORPG.

It utilizes an interesting melding of both a turn-based combat system and tab-target, creating an interesting hybrid combat system you don’t typically find in MMOs.

It utilizes what looks like a type of hybrid action combat, features a stunning open world for players to explore at their leisure, a faction system and is a direct adaptation of a popular Korean TV series.

Arthdal Chronicles is a gorgeous new upcoming hybrid action MMORPG that genuinely has the potential to be an outstanding game. It’s still in active development, and thus very little is known about the game right now but we’re very excited to be able to play it Globally this year (2022!)

Dragon Raja could be a fantastic quality MMORPG. Yet it’s held down by how much of a focus the developers have on pay to win. As one of the few cross-platform MMOs available, it looks good aesthetically, has a very poor mobile-esque control scheme and gameplay style, yet above average story. Again, it had potential. Maybe its successor, Noah’s Heart will improve where Dragon Raja has failed.

It is unconfirmed what type of combat system the game is going to employ, but given it’s the successor to Dragon Raja, I would imagine it would utilize a type of action combat.

It utilizes one of the highest quality mobile combat systems – granted, it employs an auto-combat and auto-play system, much like the vast majority of Mobile MMOs but they ported this over very well for a cross-platform title.

Blade & Soul 2 is the first fully cross-platform compatible MMORPG. And honestly? It’s a lot better than I had ever given the game credit for. It’s still a ways from achieving a fully “PC feel,” but it’s by far the greatest cross-platform title to date. A successor to Blade & Soul? No. A solid standalone title? For sure.

MIR4 is a free-to-play MMORPG.

It utilizes what is arguably one of the worst combat systems in an MMORPG. Which is a given, considering this is a cross-platform MMO between both PC and mobile devices, leaving the game mechanically lacking.

MIR4 is the latest PC port of a mobile MMORPG. It is a full auto-play title with very little offered in the form of engagement or interaction from the player. It is by far one of 2021’s worst releases. After having invested 2 hours into the game, I couldn’t stomach the lack of things to do so ultimately had to give up and move on to something else.

Chrono Odyssey is a free-to-play MMORPG.

According to information directly from NPIXEL it looks as though Chrono Odyssey is going to employ a next generation action combat system.
